1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering or using Green Roots Smart ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.
These terms apply to all users including Suppliers, Buyers, and visitors.
2. Platform Description
Green Roots Smart is a B2B marketplace connecting eco-friendly suppliers and buyers in India and internationally. We provide:
- A directory of verified eco-friendly suppliers
- Product listing and discovery tools
- Enquiry and RFQ (Request for Quotation) management
- Business profile pages for suppliers
- Dashboard tools for managing leads and products
Note: Green Roots Smart is a marketplace platform. We connect buyers and sellers but are not a party to any transaction between them.
3. Supplier Responsibilities
- ✅ You must provide accurate and truthful business information
- ✅ All products listed must be genuinely eco-friendly or sustainable
- ✅ You must respond to buyer enquiries within 48 hours
- ✅ You are responsible for the accuracy of your product listings
- ✅ You must comply with all applicable Indian laws and GST regulations
- ❌ Do not list counterfeit, illegal, or non-eco products
- ❌ Do not spam buyers or misrepresent your products
4. Buyer Responsibilities
- ✅ Provide accurate information when sending enquiries
- ✅ Only send genuine enquiries — no spam or fake RFQs
- ✅ Respect supplier privacy and business information
- ❌ Do not misuse supplier contact information
5. Verification & Approval
All supplier registrations are reviewed by our team within 24 hours. We reserve the right to:
- Reject registrations that do not meet our eco standards
- Remove listings that are misleading or non-compliant
- Suspend accounts that violate these terms
- Award or revoke the "Green Roots Verified" badge
6. Pricing & Plans
Supplier plans (Starter, Basic, Pro, Premium) are described on our Pricing page. Key points:
- The Starter (Free) plan is free forever with limited features
- Paid plans are billed monthly or annually
- No refunds after the first 7 days of a paid plan
- Buyer registration is always FREE
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice
7. Intellectual Property
The Green Roots Smart name, logo, and platform design are our intellectual property. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them without written permission.
You retain ownership of the content you upload (product photos, descriptions, etc.) but grant us a licence to display it on the platform.
8. Limitation of Liability
Green Roots Smart is not liable for:
- Disputes between buyers and suppliers
- Quality or delivery of products transacted through the platform
- Any financial losses arising from transactions
- Platform downtime or technical issues beyond our control
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Tamil Nadu, India.
